The midget pre tryout skates are for players born 2009 to 2006 that are preparing for Midget tryouts.  These skates are intended for AA-AAA players that are pushing to play Tier 1 (AAA) hockey next season.  Pretryout skates are led by Thunderbirds Midget Coaches for the upcoming season with an emphasis on skill development and preparation for tryouts.  It’s a great opportunity for players to hone their game, have the opportunity to get to know Thunderbirds coaches as well as potential teammates prior to tryouts.

The Pre-Tryout Skates will be high tempo skates designed to prepare players for upcoming tryouts and will focus on important fundamental skills including skating, passing, shooting, and checking, as well as small games and full-ice scrimmages.
