FORMER THUNDERBIRDS,
CAL FOOTE,
SIGNS WITH
TAMPA BAY LIGHTNING!

Colorado Thunderbirds are proud of former Thunderbirds defenseman, Cal Foote, as he signed with the NHL Tampa Bay Lightning!  Cal was also recently selected as WHL Western Conference Defenseman of the Year and also named to the 2017-2018 WHL Conference All-Star Team!  

Cal Foote played Colorado Thunderbirds from 2009-2015 and currently plays for the Kelowna Rockets, along with his younger brother, Nolan Foote. Cal Foote was selected in the first round of the 2017 NHL Draft, #14 overall, by Tampa Bay Lightning.  Cal is the son of proud parents, Jenn and Adam Foote, a 20-year NHL defense veteran.
