TWO FORMER
COLORADO THUNDERBIRDS WIN
CLARK CUP CHAMPIONSHIP!

Two former Colorado Thunderbirds, Dayton Rasmussen and Brian Hawkinson, helped their USHL Tri-City Storm team win the Storm's first-ever Clark Cup championship on May 20, 2016! Hawkinson, played forward for Colorado Thunderbirds from 2009-2015 and this past 2015-2016 season with the USHL Tri-City Storm.  Rasmussen, goalie, defended the net for Colorado Thunderbirds for the 2014-2015 season before moving on to play for Tri-City this past 2015-2016 season.  After their Junior hockey, Hawkinson is committed to play for Miami University of Ohio while Rasmussen will return to Colorado to play for the University of Denver for the 2017-2018 season.  

The Colorado Thunderbirds would like to congratulate these two former players and wish them the best of luck as they continue their hockey careers.
