The Colorado Thunderbirds are excited to announce that Tbirds alumni, Matt Meier, has committed to Bowling Green State University!  Meier, forward, played Thunderbirds from 2009-2013.  Matt is currently playing for the Omaha Lancers, USHL.  Prior to playing for Omaha, Meier played a semester at the Air Force Academy, and for the 2013-2014 season, he suited up with the Johnstown Tomahawk NAHL.  Matt is the son of proud parents Mark and Tammy Meier of Highlands Ranch, Colorado.   

The Colorado Thunderbirds organization continues to provide an avenue for the elite student-athlete to develop and advance to the highest levels of our game. Congratulations to Matt!  We wish him the very best of luck in his continuing hockey career!
