Colorado Thunderbirds alumni, Dominic Turgeon, signed a three-year entry level contract with the Detroit Redwings. Detroit Redwings selected Turgeon as their 2nd pick in the 2014 NHL Draft.
Turgeon, forward, played for the Colorado Thunderbirds from 2008-2012. He currently plays for the WHL Portland Winterhawks where he has played since 2012 and will also play the 2015-2016 season. Dominic is the son of proud parents Pierre and Elizabeth Turgeon of Cherry Hills, CO. Dominic is following in his father’s footsteps as Pierre is a former NHL player. The Colorado Thunderbirds wish Dominic the best of luck as he continues his hockey career!
