Tbird alum Hayden Hawkey has been named goaltender of the year by the USHL.  Hawkey, who played for the Omaha Lancers, finished the regular season with a 22-6-3 record, finishing sixth in victories among all USHL goaltenders.  He led the League with a 1.99 goals-against-average and became the first goaltender in the USHL Tier 1 era (2002-present) to finish the season with a sub-2.00 GAA.  Hawkey is committed to play at Providence College following his USHL career.  Congratulations to Hayden and you can view the full release by pressing here.
