Congratulations to former Thunderbirds, Cal Foote, for winning the Stanley Cup!

Former Thunderbirds, Cal Foote, was selected 14th overall by Tampa Bay Lightning in the 2017 NHL Draft, made his NHL debut January 13, 2021 in Lightning's season opener, scored his first NHL goal and point January 30, 2021, and won the Stanley Cup with NHL Tampa Bay Lightning July 7, 2021.

Cal is the son of Jen and Adam Foote who won 2 Stanley Cups with the NHL Colorado Avalanche in 1996 and 2001, and brother of Nolan Foote with the NHL New Jersey Devils. 

Cal played Thunderbirds from 2009-2015.  Congratulations to Cal and his entire family!
