TO RETIRE
MILAN HEJDUK'S
#23 JERSEY!

Colorado Thunderbirds are excited that one of their own coaches, Milan Hejduk, will be honored by having his Colorado Avalanche #23 jersey retired on January 6. Hedjuk's #23 will be the 6th number retired, and the 3rd Colorado Thunderbirds coach to have his Avalanche jersey retired joining other former Thunderbirds coaches Joe Sakic #19 and Adam Foote #52.  

Colorado Thunderbirds are proud to have had these former Colorado Avalanche players coach through the years with the Colorado Thunderbirds.  These special professional players are not only elite players on the ice, but they are extremely talented in coaching our Colorado Thunderbirds AAA youth players to reach their full potential to reach the next level both on and off the ice.  Milan Hejduk currently coaches the Colorado Thunderbirds 13U team along with Jan Hejda.  The Thunderbirds 13U Team, as well as other Thunderbirds families, will be at the Avalanche game on January 6 vs Minnesota Wild to watch Hejduk's #23 jersey be retired.  

This is a well-deserved honor for Milan Hejduk, and the Colorado Thunderbirds send their congratulations and best wishes to Milan and his entire family!
