TWO FORMER THUNDERBIRDS,
SMILANIC AND PETERSON, 
NAMED TO NTDP TEAM!

Colorado Thunderbirds are excited that Thunderbirds, Ty Smilanic, and former Thunderbirds, Dylan Peterson, have been named to the 2018-2019 US NTDP U17 Team!  Smilanic played Colorado Thunderbirds from 2012-2014 and 2016-2018, and is committed to University of Denver.  Peterson played Thunderbirds from 2012-2014 and is committed to Boston University.

The NTDP U17 Team will play in the United States Hockey League, the only Tier I Junior Hockey League in the United States, as well as select competition against teams in the North American Hockey League and Minnesota Elite League.  It will also compete in three international tournaments, including the 2018 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge, 2018 Four Nations Tournament and 2019 Five Nations Tournament.  

Congratulations to Ty and Dylan!  We wish them the best of luck on the NTDP Team!
