CALE MORRIS,
NAMED BIG TEN'S
PLAYER OF THE YEAR!

Former Colorado Thunderbirds goalie, Cale Morris, was named the Big Ten's Player of the Year and Goaltender of the Year! Morris is a Hobey Baker Award candidate, and has a 23-7-1 record with a 1.93 goals against average, a .946 save percentage, and 4 shutouts this season.  

Cale Morris played goalie for Colorado Thunderbirds from 2008-2013 before playing his Junior Hockey for the USHL Chicago Steel and Waterloo Black Hawks.  Cale is currently a Sophomore at University of Notre Dame which was ranked #3 in the regular season.  Notre Dame and Ohio State will play for the Big Ten Tournament Championship Saturday night at 8:00pm at the Compton Family Ice Arena.

Colorado Thunderbirds are proud of Cale Morris and wish him the best of luck at the Big Ten Tournament Championship and his continuing hockey career!
