Colorado Thunderbirds is proud to announce that former Colorado Thunderbirds stars Cale Morris and CJ Dodero were chosen to compete in the 2016 USHL/NHL Top Prospects Game in Omaha, Nebraska, January 12. All players on the team are eligible for the 2016 NHL Draft held in Buffalo, New York, June 24-25, 2016. The players selected for the USHL/NHL Top Prospects Game will be split into two 20-man teams, Team East and Team West, and the teams will represent a split of mostly players competing in the USHL’s Eastern Conference and Western Conference. The final rosters, along with coaches will be announced at a later date.
Cale Morris, currently playing goalie for the USHL Waterloo Blackhawks and committed to University of Notre Dame, played for the Colorado Thunderbirds from 2008-2013. CJ Dodero, currently playing forward for the USHL Sioux City Musketeers, played for the Colorado Thunderbirds from 2009-2015. Congratulations to Cale and CJ! Good luck in the USHL/NHL Top Prospects Game, the NHL Draft, and the rest of the season!
