The Colorado Thunderbirds program is pleased to announce that alumni Nick Kossoff has committed to play college hockey for Lake Superior State University of the WCHA for the 2015-16.  Kossoff played for the 18U Thunderbirds for two seasons and is currently playing for the Keyston Ice Miners in the NAHL.  In twelve starts for the Ice Miners, Kossoff has two shutouts and ranks 5th in the league for save percentage.  “Nick is a great player on and off the ice" said Nick Hantge, 18U Head Coach.  "He is an absolute athlete in the net and works as hard as anyone.  Not only is LSSU getting a great goalie, they are getting a natural leader and excellent student."  Nick is the son of proud parents Andy and Robin Kossoff who live in West Des Moines, IA.  We wish Nick continued success in his junior and college career!
