“I am thrilled to host the ‘Colorado Power Play’ which will bring a variety of information so any level ofplayer will enjoy the webcast,” Ricci explained. “All the way from a beginner to an advanced level playerand from the casual fan to the expert.”

Many hockey experts believe Colorado is no longer a non-traditional market. Our state has established itself as somewhat of a hockey hotbed. We have over 6,000 youths registered and growing plus a large adult contingent playing hockey. With the Avalanche, DU, CC, Air Force plus schools like CU, CSU and others with college club teams, the game will continue to grow and flourish on the Front Range. Another area that continues to grow is girls’ hockey, which has such an enormous upside.”

When asked about hosting the Colorado Power Play, Ricci stated, “Being involved with this game for over 38 years as a player, coach, director, skills consultant, student of the game and analyst. I believe I can provide fresh insight and perspective to the great game of hockey. The different experiences and people that I have been very fortunate to be involved with and meet has helped my growth as a hockey enthusiast as well.”
