The Colorado Thunderbirds program is pleased to announce that Dayton Rasmussen has committed to play college hockey for University of Denver after his junior hockey career concludes.  Rasmussen played goalie for the 2014-2015 Thunderbirds 16U National team and is drafted by the USHL Waterloo Blackhawks.

The Thunderbirds organization continues to provide an avenue for the elite student-athlete to develop and advance to the highest levels of our game.  Rasmussen is the fifth player from the 2014-2015 Thunderbirds 16U National team to commit to play college hockey.  He joins teammates Ben Lown and Brian Hawkinson who both committed to Miami of Ohio in early November, Trystan Isenhour who committed to Colorado College in early December, and Max Gerlach who committed to University of North Dakota in January.  Dayton is the son of proud parents John and Nancy Rasmussen.  We wish Dayton all the best in his continuing hockey career!
