The Colorado Thunderbirds program is pleased to announce that Jack Doremus has committed to play college hockey for University of Denver after his junior hockey career concludes.  Doremus, forward, played Thunderbirds from 2013-2015 and will be playing for the USHL Chicago Steel this coming season.

Jack is the son of proud parents Andrew and Jeanne Doremus of Aspen, Colorado.  He will be following in his older brother, Daniel’s, footsteps as Daniel played Colorado Thunderbirds from 2009-2010 before playing his collegiate hockey at University of Denver and signing with the NHL San Jose Sharks.  Jack’s twin brother, Willy, also played for Thunderbirds from 2013-2015.

The Colorado Thunderbirds organization continues to provide an avenue for the elite student-athlete to develop and advance to the highest levels of our game. Congratulations to Jack!  We wish Jack and his family all the best in their continuing hockey career!
