On Thursday, May 3, the Western Hockey League (WHL) held their Bantam Draft for 14 year old players. As we have seen in past years, the Colorado Thunderbirds were represented in this draft. This year four players from the Thunderbird U14 team were selected by teams in the WHL. The players selected were:
Zach Goberis Round 4 - 87th overall Selected by: Tri-City Americans (then traded to Lethbridge Hurricanes)
Christos Zinis Round 8 - 172nd overall Selected by: Moose Jaw Warriors
Logan Fauber Round 10 - 204th overall Selected by: Lethbridge Hurricanes
Alex Overhardt Round 11 - 240th overall Selected by: Portland Winterhawks
