Evan Anderson, forward for the Colorado Thunderbirds 2011-2012 U18 team, has committed to play his college hockey with the Michigan Tech Huskies of the WCHA starting in either the fall of 2013 or 2014.  "Evan will be a terrific addition to Tech.  He is a fine student/athlete that has worked so hard to achieve his goal of being a division 1 athlete," stated Angelo Ricci, Director of Hockey Operations for the Thunderbirds, "he is moving on to an excellent university with a great coaching staff."  Anderson was a member of the Thunderbirds 2010 U16 Tier 1 National Championship team.  Evan is the son of Audrey and Steve Anderson from Littleton, CO.
