The 98 (U13) Thunderbirds accomplished just what they set out to do all season, be in the top 8 in the nationals rankings in January, earn a spot in the Super Series 98 cup, and win the event in commanding fashion.  

The Thunderbirds did just that Sunday by beating the nations #2 ranked team,  and tournament host, St Louis Amateur Blues 6-3.  The T-birds went 3-1-1 over the weekend defeating Team Comcast, the New Jersey Devils, and the Blues on their way to their season ending victory in the championship game.

The team, coached by Adam Foote, Ben Stromberg and Steve Fry, finished the season with an overall record of 49-10-5 including a 21-6-2 record in the 98 Super Series events.  In addition to their Super Series Championship, the team won the Bantam Minor state title, and the Dallas and Denver Super Series events.
