The Colorado Thunderbirds are pleased to announce that U16 sophomore forward Dylan Gambrell has joined the Dubuque Fighting Saints of the USHL for the 2012-2013 season.  Gambrell is currently the leading scorer in the Tier 1 Elite League with 4 goals and 8 assists in 4 games.  Gambrell performed very well with Dubuque during his three game stint last week in the 2012 USHL Fall Classic in Sioux City, Iowa.  "We are extremely proud of Dylan, he as worked very hard for this honor.  He is a special talent and will certainly be missed by his teammates and our program.  This is a terrific opportunity for him and I know he he is up for the challenge," states Director of Hockey Operations and U16 head coach, Angelo Ricci.  Gambrell is committed to the University of Denver (WCHA).
