On Thursday, May 2, the Western Hockey League (WHL) held their Bantam Draft for 14 year old players  (1998 birth years).  As we have seen in past years, the Colorado Thunderbirds were well represented in this draft.  This year five players from the Thunderbird U14 team were selected by teams in the WHL.  The players selected were:

Cal Foote             Round 2 - 23rd overall Selected by Kelowna Rockets
Zach Walker         Round 3 - 61st overall Selected by Vancouver Giants
Max Gerlach         Round 6 - 120th overall Selected by Medicine Hat Tigers
Anea Ferrario       Round 7 - 146th overall Selected by Tri City Americans
Jaden Anderson   Round 10 - 199th overall Selected by Prince Albert Raiders
