Thunderbird Alums Quentin Shore and Jaccob Slavin have been named to the 29-player preliminary roster for the 2013 U.S. National Junior Team.  The 29 players on the preliminary roster will take part in a training camp Dec. 15-18 at the University of Minnesota's Mariucci Arena in Minneapolis, in preparation for the International Ice Hockey Federation World Junior Championship Dec. 26, the 2013-Jan. 5, 2014, in Malmo, Sweden.  The training camp will continue in Angelholm, Sweden, before the final 23-man roster is announced on Dec. 23.  Shore, a forward, is currently a sophmore at the University of Denver.  Slavin, a defenseman, is a freshman at Colorado College.
