The Colorado Thunderbirds are pleased to announce the coaching staff for the 2014-2015 season. The Thunderbirds offer the highest level of coaching from top to bottom. We are the proud home of Colorado's first Tier 1 National Championship, the 2010 16U Tier 1 team.

The Colorado Thunderbirds provide the benchmark of AAA competition for elite players at the 18U, 16U National, 16U American, 14U, 13U, 12U and 11U levels.  The Thunderbirds are the nine time defending State Champion at the 16U level and six time defending State Champion at the 14U level.  The 16U and 14U teams both won the 2014 Rocky Mountain District Championship and will be heading to Green Bay, WI for the USA Hockey National Tournament from April 2 - 6.  The 18U team has been to four of the past five national tournaments.  The 16U team has been to the national tournament five out of the past nine years.  The 14U team has been to the national tournament seven of the past eight seasons.  We are proud members of the Tier 1 Elite Hockey League at the 18U and 16U National levels and Tier 1 Elite League/Super Series AAA League at the 16U American, 14U, 13U, 12U and 11U levels.  

We are very thankful to be supported by three very strong CCYHL Tier II programs in the Arapahoe Ice Warriors, Foothills Flyers and Littleton Hawks.

The Thunderbirds offer an elite group of high level coaches that are committed to each player’s development. Our program offers the training that is needed to establish and maintain an elite developmental track for all Thunderbird players. The program is structured to provide players the time needed to excel both academically as well as athletically. The foundation of the program is
