Colorado Thunderbirds 16U forward Zachary Walker has committed to play for the National Development Team Program in Ann Arbor, Michigan starting in the 2014-2015 season. Walker attended the evaluation camp last month in Ann Arbor and was offered a spot after the camp concluded.  In 69 games this season, Walker compiled 30 goals, 42 assists and is a plus 52 on the season.  We want to wish Zachary all the best in Ann Arbor next season.  The Thunderbirds program continues to advance players to the NTDP.  Walker will be the sixth Thunderbirds player to accept an invite from the NTDP.  He joins a very prestigious list of former Thunderbirds to wear the red, white and blue; Sean Lorenz, Nick Shore, Seth Jones, Quentin Shore and Gavin Stoick.  Good luck to Zachary!
