The Colorado Thunderbirds program is pleased to announce that Zachary Walker has committed to play college hockey for the Boston College Eagles of Hockey East after his two year commitment to play for USA Hockey's NTDP.  Walker was born in 1998 and he hails from Boise, ID.  He is a power forward that just completed his second full season with the Thunderbirds.  Walker was a member for the 14U and 16U teams the past two seasons.  "Zach has developed into a big time prospect.  He has a work ethic and compete level that is second to none.  He is a very strong two-way player that is an excellent skater.  His potential is unlimited.  BC is very fortunate to land such high character player that happens to also be a terrific student," said Angelo Ricci, Director of Hockey Operations/16U Head Coach.  The Thunderbirds organization continues to provide an avenue for the elite student-athlete to develop and advance to the highest levels of our game.  Zach is the son of Trevor and Tammie Walker.  Congrats and best of luck to Zach!
