Josiah was drafted by the Chicago Blackhawks in the 7th round, 193rd overall in the 2018 NHL Draft, and now has signed a 2 year entry-level contract with them through the 2022-2023 season.

 

Josiah played Thunderbirds 2009-2016 and comes from a great hockey family that have all been involved with the Thunderbirds. Older brother Jaccob plays for Carolina Hurricanes, sister Jordan played at University of North Dakota, and younger brother, Jeremiah, is currently on the Thunderbirds 16U Team. Proud parents are Rob and Wendi Slavin of Erie, CO.
