CO THUNDERBIRDS 14U
SHARE THEIR
LOVE OF HOCKEY!

Colorado Thunderbirds 14U Team spent some time with the Warrior Avs Sled Hockey Team on December 7.  The Warrior Avs Sled Hockey Team is "an all veteran team that encourages veterans with disabilities to get out into the community and work together to overcome physical and mental barriers on and off the ice", "promoting a healthy and active lifestyle for all team members."  The Thunderbirds 14U Team and Warrior Avs Sled Hockey Team practiced together and then divided up players to scrimmage.  After the scrimmage, both teams headed out to dinner to learn more about each other's lives and experiences!

Colorado Thunderbirds 14U Team will continue to share their love of hockey by adopting 3 families for Christmas and then volunteering for a Denver Rescue Mission event on January 1 where the team will prepare dinner and serve the meal.

Colorado Thunderbirds are proud of our 14U Team for giving back and sharing their love of hockey at this special time of year!
