2019 WHL DRAFT!
Congratulations to the following Colorado Thunderbirds players that were selected in the Western Hockey League (WHL) Bantam Draft (2004 birth year) on Thursday, May 3.
- Luke Schelter, forward, drafted by Portland, round 6, 124th overall
- Beau Courtney, forward, drafted by Everett, round 8, 174th overall
- Michael Valdez, forward, drafted by Red Deer, round 9, 185th overall
- Marek Hejduk, forward, drafted by Portland, round 9, 190th overall
- David Hejduk, defense, drafted by Everett, round 9, 196th overall
- Reid Conn, defense, drafted by Everett, round 14, 306th overall
Colorado Thunderbirds wish these players the best of luck at their team's main camp this summer, and are excited to continue to watch these young men develop as hockey players!
