ISAIAH SAVILLE,
NAMED
USHL GOALTENDER
of the YEAR!
Congratulations to former Colorado Thunderbirds goalie, Isaiah Saville, as he was named USHL Goaltender of the Year! Saville, 18, of Anchorage, Alaska, played Colorado Thunderbirds from 2016-2017, USHL Tri-City Storm 2018-2019, and is committed to play his college hockey at the University of Nebraska-Omaha.
Another former Colorado Thunderbirds goalie, Hayden Hawkey, also was named USHL Goaltender of the Year in 2013-2014. Hawkey played Colorado Thunderbirds from 2009-2013, USHL Omaha Lancers from 2013-2015, college hockey at Providence College from 2015-2019, drafted by Montreal Canadiens round 6, #177 overall in the 2014 NHL Draft, and his rights were traded to Edmonton in the Summer of 2018.
Colorado Thunderbirds wish these goalies the best of luck in their continuing hockey endeavors!
