NOLAN FOOTE,
SELECTED TO PLAY
FOR CANADA IN THE
2017 IVAN HLINKA TOURNAMENT!

Colorado Thunderbirds is proud to announce that Nolan Foote, former Colorado Thunderbirds, has been chosen to play for Under 18 Team Canada at the 2017 Ivan Hlinka Memorial Cup August 7-12 in Breclav, Czech Republic, and Bratislava, Slovakia.  The Ivan Hlinka Memorial Cup is an annual event held each August for national under-18 teams from around the world.  The 2017 Ivan Hlinka Memorial Cup will include teams from Czech Republic, Sweden, Switzerland, United States, Slovakia, Canada, Finland, and Russia. 

Nolan Foote played forward for the Colorado Thunderbirds from 2011-2016. Nolan and his brother, Cal, currently play for the WHL Kelowna Rockets.  Cal Foote was selected in the first round of the 2017 NHL draft, #14 overall, by Tampa Bay Lightning.  Nolan and Cal are the sons of proud parents, Jenn and Adam Foote, a 20-year NHL defense veteran.
