THREE COLORADO THUNDERBIRDS
PLAYERS SELECTED IN THE WHL BANTAM DRAFT!

On Thursday, May 5, the Western Hockey League (WHL) held their Bantam Draft for 14 year old players  (2001 birth years).  As in previous years, the Colorado Thunderbirds were well represented in this draft.  Colorado Thunderbirds had three current players selected in the Bantam Draft.  The three players drafted were from the Thunderbirds 14U team.

The 2016 WHL Bantam Draft was held May 5, and the Colorado Thunderbirds had 3 players selected from the Thunderbirds 14U team:

• Callan Sandquist, goalie, drafted by Portland in round 7, 141st overall
• Brock Gould, goalie, drafted by Victoria in round 8, 170th overall
• Killian Kiecker-Olson, drafted by Kelowna in round 9, 188th overall

Congratulations to these players for the recognition they have achieved in the WHL Bantam Draft.  Colorado Thunderbirds is excited to continue to watch these young men develop as hockey players!
