The Colorado Thunderbirds 16U National Team was victorious at the District Championship Tournament at the Promenade Rink in Westminster, Colorado, March 10-13.  The Thunderbirds 16U Team went 4-0 outscoring their opponents 28-2 in their four games.  During round robin play, they skated past Dallas Stars Elite with a score of 3-0, Phoenix Jr. Coyotes 6-1, and West Coast Renegades 12-0.  The 16U team faced off against the Dallas Stars Elite Team again in the Championship game to earn the title with a resounding 7-1 victory.  

Congratulations to the Colorado Thunderbirds 16U team as they advance to the USA Hockey National Championship Tournament March 31-April 4, 2016, in  San Jose, California.  Best of luck to the Colorado Thunderbirds 16U Team as they pursue the National Title!
