Tbirds former player, Mikey Eyssimont, helped St. Cloud State with their 5-2 and 6-2 victories over Denver University December 11-12.  Eyssimont was cheered on by several family members attending the games as Mikey returned to Colorado to play his first games in his home state since leaving three years ago to play Junior Hockey. Eyssimont played for Colorado Thunderbirds from 2009-2013 before heading off to play for USHL Fargo Force from 2013-2015. Eyssimont was traded late in the 2014-2015 season to the USHL Sioux Falls Stampede where he became the league's second leading scorer with 16 points in 12 playoff games and helped lead the Stampede to the 2015 Clark Cup title. Eyssimont is currently a freshman at St. Cloud State for the 2015-2016 season.  Colorado Thunderbirds wish Mikey the very best of luck in his continuing hockey career!
