Congratulations to Colorado Thunderbirds Alums Brandon Carlo and Scott Eansor as they were selected on the 2016 US National Junior Team that will compete in the 2016 International Ice Hockey Federation World Junior Championships in Helsinki, Finland.  Team USA will conclude its training camp in Vierumaki, Finland on December 24 before traveling to Helsinki.

Team USA's first game will be Saturday, December 26 against Canada.

Brandon Carlo played defense for Colorado Thunderbirds from 2008-2013. Carlo currently plays for Tri-City Americans (WHL) and has signed with the Boston Bruins where he was drafted in 2015, 2nd round, 37th overall.  Scott Eansor, forward, played for Colorado Thunderbirds from 2008-2011, and 2012-2013.  Eansor currently plays for Seattle Thunderbirds (WHL).

Colorado Thunderbirds wish both of these players the very best of luck at the 2016 IIHF World Junior Championships!
